Three ways to see more of the world
The world is an incredible place - bursting with breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, and unique experiences waiting to be discovered. With 195 countries across the globe, each offering its own traditions, cultures, and surprises, it’s impossible to see everything in a single lifetime. That’s what makes travel so exciting: no matter how much you explore, there’s always somewhere new to uncover.
To see more of the world, there are different types of holidays which you can do, which allow you to travel to different countries or experience different cities within a country. When cruising, you’ll get to see various countries in one trip on a boat, or on a walking holiday you get to hike through different countries, just like this walking holiday in France, where your holiday will start in Les Houches, following a tour that will take you to tour three countries: France, Italy and Switzerland - the possibilities are endless!
To give you some inspiration, we have put together a list of three ways to see more of the world. Keep on reading to discover three ways you can travel, which you may not have thought of before.
Walking holiday
A good place to start is a walking holiday. You can do a walking holiday where you can see various countries in one trip (like the ones we mentioned in our intro: France, Italy and Switzerland) or you can do a walking holiday where you explore one country but see various destinations, like one of these Germany walking tours.
Walking holidays are great as you get to see a plethora of landscapes, whilst also getting to spend quality time with the people you are going away with. You can do one with your family, as part of a solo getaway or as a romantic break.
Cruise holiday
Cruise holidays are another fantastic way to see more of the world in a short space of time. In one one-week trip, you can sail to over five countries, experience their cultures and get a taste of what that country offers, so you know whether to go back or not in the future. Plus, you don’t have the hassle of constantly packing and unpacking or arranging different transport links. From exploring Mediterranean islands to hopping between Caribbean beaches or even discovering several European cities in a week, cruises let you wake up in a new place almost every day.
Road trip
Road trips have always been popular, as they are very flexible and they give you the chance to see as many countries or destinations as you can fit within the period of time you are away. In one trip, you can visit four or five countries, which makes it a very efficient and exciting way to experience more of the world in one go. A good road trip to look into would be a trip through Dubrovnik to Montenegro, as they are very close to each other.
